You came out the other side only 8lbs up? Impressive. If I put on that little weight this time round, I’ll be one happy girlie!
I really don’t understand the hard-boiled eggs with nori and tabasco, but then I guess that’s what pregnancy cravings are about!

It'll go back up in the third trimester, I'm sure. My morning sickness was just that: Morning sickness, cleanly taken care of in the morning shower, and that was it. Followed by cravings for hard-boiled eggs with nori and tabasco and a side of raw broccoli. Only the third trimester made burritos attractive again, but when the carb-counting started (gestational diabetes), that, too, went out the window. Two weeks postpartum I still ended up with 8 lbs upwards from where I was pre-pregnancy. .-= charlotte said Clown Car Insurance =-.

I lost weight in the beginning with all three of my pregnancies due to morning sickness, but then gained it back and then some! I got chocolate cravings at the end which I think is partly responsible!

Don’t – the husband jokingly said it and I protested. Then he said it again in front of he boy and it’s unfortunately stuck. Really don’t think the kid’s going to be too impressed when it pops out!
