You may remember that over the summer TB and I reviewed a set of Snazaroo face paints. We received another set in our latest Toys R Us Toyologist box and thought we’d share the face painting fun with you.

Up for grabs is one set of Snazaroo Girl Face Paints (RRP £9.99). The face paints are hypoallergenic and non-toxic water-based paints in eight different colours. They’re easy to remove and come with a step-by-step guide in case you need a little inspiration and, in case you don’t feel like painting with your fingers, there’s also a brush and sponge in the box.

So when a Ben 10 Alien Force Plumber’s Communicator arrived in one of our Toyologists boxes I groaned.  And then I decided to do a giveaway before he even saw the thing!

You switch the Plumber’s Communicator on and twist the unit to bring up the image disc and project an image of Grandpa Max. Press the button to hear Grandpa Max phrases.   That is, of course, if you win or choose to buy one for £17.99.  If not, you’ll just have to be content with watching everyone else play with theirs.

So, usual competition rules apply: you must leave a comment telling me why you want to win (or more to the point, why your kid wants you to win).  You can gain extra entries for each additional comment you make which convinces me that you’ve done something worthy of an extra entry.  Things like following on twitter, tweeting and joining the facebook page (I will check for proof!) are a good start, but be as ingenious as you can.  Competition closes at midnight Monday 25 November and is open to UK residents only.

Portsmouth holds a special place in our family’s hearts but even so, we’ve never managed to visit Highlight Comedy Club.  Portsmouth’s Highlight is set on the waterfront of the multi-million pound Gun Wharf Quays development and surrounded by scores of upmarket shops, including factory outlets for numerous designer brands.
