Back in the days when we were a one iPhone household, I may have pinched the husband’s on rare occasions and loaded a few apps on to it. Games, things to keep me occupied whenever we visited the mother in law, nothing of any use really.
One of those games was Crazy Penguin Catapault. It was fairly amusing and kept me quiet for a few moments. Then one day, when the boy was getting bored on the tube, out came the iPhone and we let him play that game.
Then we became a two iPhone family and I may have just loaded quite a few games onto mine. And I may have let the boy play on them on more than a few occasions.
Last night I hear a call from downstairs: “Mum, where’s your iPhone?”
“In my bag boy” I replied, thinking he wouldn’t even get the thing turned on, let alone unlocked.
But a few moments later I heard “Mum, I want to play the game with the blocks. Is it the blue one I press?”
“Yes.”
“And then the blue one again?”
“Yes.”
I’m thinking the boy’s going to have to ask for an iTouch for Christmas, because neither of us do sharing very well.

haha that sounds like most days in our house too

Just don’t get me started on that kid and the xBox – I think he’s got a better idea of how to work the thing than I do!
I feel like the only person in the world without an iphone! :S

You possibly are! lol
It’s a must have in my opinion – I couldn’t go back now.
I’m just waiting until the munchkin can do the cbeebies games on her own – we’ll never get her off the laptop (the desktop mouse is too big for her little hands). May be all the more reason for Mr H to get a netbook – it can be hers in the day when he’s at work!

Don’t! We had a laptop. It ws dying and the husband couldn’t afford to be without a computer for work, so we bought a desktop. The laptop hung on, but he needed something faster for when he went out to clients, so he got another laptop. So he gave the dying laptop to the boy. It’s officially HIS computer now (a good thing too since cbeebies is about the only thing that’ll run on it) and he even has his own password and everything. He’s five. We didn’t even have a computer in our house when I was five!
nah no iphone over here and no games on the mobile either, soooo old fashioned!

Don’t tell me you’re still using your PAYG phone from five years back?
Definitely sounds like the way our house is heading! Except my little one likes Doodle Jump!
