Yay for more Girly Bits polish! This time I’m showing you Stardust. Now I will admit that had I actually read the description for this polish I probably wouldn’t have bought it. I just don’t like neon glitter particles and find them a bit plastic looking.
Stardust is a silver holo with green, pink and blue neon microglitter. It covered well in two coats (although my paranoia would probably require a third if my nails were longer) and was smooth to apply. It has a slightly gritty finish thanks to the glitter so I added a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.
Now back to that neon microglitter. It actually works quite well when mixed with the holo. It’s not too overwhelming and gives a really pretty colour cast to the silver, making it slightly blue under certain lights. You don’t see it in the non-flash photos but it does start to come out in the flash photos. I won’t say I’m a neon glitter convert now, but I will admit that in the right circumstances its use is acceptable.
