It was St George that originally drew me to the A England site but it seems such a shame to make a polish suffer through the trials of Royal Mail on its own so I ordered Tristam and Lady of the Lake as well. I love a bit of purple polish and the holo in Lady of the Lake makes it all the more gorgeous.
Indoors, no flash
I really struggled to take a half decent photo of this one without using the flash. It didn’t help that when I was taking pictures outside it was overcast. We all know that holo polishes need good light to really shine.
Outdoors, flash
The top picture is probably the most colour accurate in my opinion. If you’ve got the polish do you agree? The picture below is closest to what it looks like during the night. When I was outside under the City streetlights Lady of the Lake really didn’t look that special.
Outdoors, no flash
First time I wore Lady of the Lake I didn’t get much done all day. I spent too long looking at my nails and seeing them sparkle under the lights. Ooops! Unfortunately for my productivity levels St George and Tristam have had the same effect.
Dodgy close up
Pictures here are two coats without base or top. I think if you were careful enough you could get away with only using one coat.
