Yesterday’s goodies were bumper. I started out with a bag from Rimmel. These were in the goodie bags from the Rimmel/Glam LFW suite. As I couldn’t make it up there over the weekend they were kind enough to pop a bag in the post.

Next up is the start of the nail mail. I was looking for a base coat that would help my hideously conditioned nails and when I saw that the seller also had Dorothy Who? available I figured it would be rude not too. Surely it’s more efficient and carbon friendly to combine postage?

Boots invited me to their Spring/Summer preview so I went along in the hope of spotting some new polishes. I was not disappointed. The nail polish above has just hit stores; the powder will be available from 16 May and the mascara from 11 July.

No.7′s new Smooth & Improve Cellulite Treatment contains extracts of caffeine, sandalwood and Pro-vitamin A to battle cellulite (available from 16 May). I gave my tube to mum as anyone who’s ever seen me in a bikini knows I really don’t give a damn about my orange peel bum. I am, however, keeping the Fanomenal Lashes Mascara (available from 13 June) because my lashes need all the help they can get. Both my boys have eyelashes only found elsewhere on cows. Me, short, stubby horrible things.

No. 7 Stay Perfect Glitter Top Coats

My hopes of polish were well and truly satisfied by the Limited Edition No. 7 Stay Perfect Glitter Top Coats (available from 16 May to 10 July). The top coats are a refreshingly simple mix of one colour micro glitter and larger hex glitter. It’s nice for once to see a glitter that doesn’t have too much going on in the bottle. These will be perfect for layering. Jelly sandwich anyone?

Finally a Leighton Denny Double Up Duo of Liquid Silver and Daylight Robbery. Remember the other day when I was saying that I didn’t have any of their polishes because I refused to shell out £11.00 at once for them? Well this pack was a total bargain at £9.99 in TK Maxx. I was mooching around a different store on Monday and noticed that they had some of the Colour Club Boho seven packs. I didn’t buy at the time as there were only a few colours I’d want in each pack but as I was near a different store I figured it might be worth taking a quick look to see if they had anything else. Score! They also had Mavala and Nails Inc packs so I’ll definitely be stalking from now on.
