The epic conclusion to Rebel, Fang, Kian, and Vaughn's story. This blurb contains spoilers for the first two books.

At the edge of a grave, one man lies dead.

Another flees, leaving behind a trail of destruction and heartbreak.

In the middle, I’m left with a sister I didn’t know I had and three men I’m falling hopelessly in love with.

But new threats endanger our happiness at every turn.

Secrets hide in corners and evil lurks in the darkness.

Caleb won’t stop until one of us is dead.

Until my rebel heart beats for the final time.

Or until I rip his out.

Rebel Heart is an adult, #whychoose romance, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This book contains romantic suspense and dark themes that may trigger some readers. It is the final book in a now complete trilogy. Start the series with Rebel Revenge and Rebel Obsession.

Rebel Heart - My Review

Book review from Glowstars.net, 5 stars. Book cover: Rebel Heart by Elle Thorpe

Anybody who’s ever read a Saint View book will know that there’s always more going on than meets the eye. Every time Elle Thorpe pulls out more twists and turns than Bolivia’s Death Road. With Rebel Heart she’s gone one better and pulled off probably the most complex plot I’ve read from her yet.

[Scythe] handed Bliss off to Nash then rolled his eyes at me, toeing the body with his heavy black boot. “Please. Easiest cleanup ever.” He gave Hugh’s body a solid kick. “Timberrrr!”

When we left Rebel in Rebel Obsessession Caleb and Hugh had just turned up at her mom’s funeral, she’d shot and killed Hugh at her mom’s graveside, she’d discovered that Kara was her sister, and she was holding Caleb at gunpoint. Of course, things will go from bad to worse because Caleb’s holding Kara’s daughter who knows where, so it’s not like Rebel can kill him and end this shit.

Alongside all the steam you’d expect from a Thorpe novel there are so many mysteries to unravel. Where is Kara’s baby and how will she get her back? What happened to the other women who were back at the Sinners’ compound? Will Vaughn and Kian ever really sort their shit out and learn to communicate? What was really going on between Rebel’s mom, Vaughn’s dad, and Kian? What about the scream that was heard from the house only nights before the newlyweds were killed? What is Harold Coker really up to with Vaughn’s family business and how does Caleb fit into all of it? Let me tell you, there are surprises ahead, some I was suspecting and others that blindsided me.

Her size wasn’t the only reason I called her Pix. she was wild and free and magical. Just like pixies.
Fang

When it comes to Rebel, in these three books I’ve learned to expect the unexpected. This balances perfectly with the more predictable habits of the other characters in the book. You know that Kian’s inability to communicate his hurt is going to deliver more angst for everyone, that Vaughn is going to fail to see exactly what’s in front of him, and that tough MC member, Fang, is going to realise the depth of his feelings and where they’re headed. Best of all, you want to see all of that happen and watch as the characters grow together. And there is going to be some serious growth.

Rebel Heart felt like more of an ensemble book than any of the previous Saint View instalments. Aside from the four main characters, there are also chapters written from the points of view of Kara, Winnie, Bliss, War, Caleb, and Hayden. I really liked the approach as it added extra dimensions to the story. With Rebel and Bliss being best of friends, Bliss was never going to be left firmly back in the Psychos series, and it was good to see her story continuing. The eagle-eyed among us will have noticed that Thorpe put up a new pre-order for another Saint View series coming soon, Slayers vs Sinners, and it looks like this is the start of a story for Kara and Hayden. The bonus epilogue suggests that this will be another blinding story.

When you get to the end of the book, don’t forget to download and read the cute bonus scene that will tie up the final loose end for this Saint View quad – it’s particularly heartfelt and personal.

About Elle Thorpe

Elle Thorpe

Elle Thorpe lives on the sunny east coast of Australia, about an hour out of Sydney. When she’s not writing stories full of kissing and chemistry, she’s a wife, and Mummy to three tiny humans. She’s also official ball thrower to one slobbery dog named Rollo. Yes, she named a female dog after a male character on Vikings. Don’t judge her. Elle is a complete and utter fangirl at heart, obsessing over The Walking Dead and Outlander to an unhealthy degree. But she wouldn’t change a thing.
