I came here for information about the Grizzly Skulls, the infamous motorcycle club. That’s all I wanted, but I got so much more than I asked for.

Little did I know, information came at a price, one I wasn’t prepared to pay. With each question, I signed away my body, giving them more and more of myself until my life had been handed over to Grizzly and his inner circle, Kodiak, Ursus, Honey, and Sonny.

In one hour, they taught me to care for them. In the next, I was nothing more than their ‘little bird’ meant to be used in their sick game.

The cabin they locked me in was now my prison, but maybe, it would be the place I learned to fly.

Averie and the Grizzly Skulls is a dark, contemporary, reverse harem, motorcycle club novella meant for an adult audience of 18+. If you are not looking for a book containing non-consent, DO NOT READ.

Averie and the Grizzly Skulls - My Review

Book review from Glowstars.net, 4.5 stars. Book cover: Averie and the Grizzly Skulls by Sullyn Shaw

For some reason, the name Averie and the Grizzly Skulls sounds cute and fluffy to me. It’s not, and this book is about as far from cute and fluffy as it gets. We’re talking closer to UndeadTed than Winnie the Pooh. Even after reading devouring the story the name still brings me to sweetness and light. I probably need help.

So, a little bird walks into a bar filled with grizzly bears. What does she expect to find? To be honest, I’m not too sure. It seems crazy to me that Averie thought she could walk into the Grizzlies Skull’s den and leave with all the answers to the inner workings of the MC. But apparently, she was that naive. What follows is one woman’s descent into depravity and the mental struggle that accompanies her.

The Grizzlies know that Averie is special; they see that if she can survive their trials, she is the girl they’ve been looking for – the one Grizzly has been waiting for. But, she has a lot to endure and accept before she’ll even see Grizzly loosen his hold on control.

The story is dark, debauched, and deliciously depraved. It’s one long trigger warning but also completely addictive reading and, at times, hot as hell. If you can handle the content, this book is definitely worth a few hours of your time.
